戴定澄簡

戴定澄,教授,作曲理論博士(上海音樂學院作曲系首位博士)、博士生導師。主要研究領域為歐洲早期多聲音樂,2003年赴澳門工作後同時開始關注和研究澳門城市音樂。現爲澳門城市大學特聘教授、音樂學博導,中國音樂家協會理事,兼任中國中央音樂學院、中國音樂學院、英國紐卡素大學、中國廣州星海音樂學院、華南師範大學等客席教授,粵港澳大灣區文化創意專家委員會委員,澳門樂團顧問委員,澳門基金會文化項目審查小組成員,澳門長虹音樂會、澳門道樂團、澳門管樂協會、集樂澳門協會、世界南音聯誼會、中國中央音樂學院澳門校友會等團體名譽音樂總監、名譽會長等。曾任香港浸會大學音樂學科海外學術咨詢委員,世界合唱聯盟、亞太民族音樂學會等理事,中國高校理論作曲委員會副主任,澳門教育青年局“中小學音樂學力要求”研製組顧問,上海師範大學音樂學院首任院長,上海音樂家協會副主席,上海音樂家協會理論委員會主任,澳門理工學院藝術高等學校教授、校長,澳門政府文化諮詢委員等職。

戴定澄出生於上海,幼時學習音樂,並於上海完成音樂學士學位(作曲主課導師:陳松齡副教授)及助教進修(師從陳銘志、林華、茅于潤、楊立青等教授),後赴日本國立靜岡大學隨須貝 靜直(Shizunao Sugai)教授研修,再於上海音樂學院作曲系隨桑桐先生讀博。多次赴海內外講學和作課題研究。著述10餘部,包括:歐洲早期和聲的觀念與形態(2000、2001) ;鍵盤和聲(1991、2001、2004);音樂表演在澳門(2005);音樂教育在澳門(2005);音樂創作在澳門(2007);澳門音樂簡史(2008);合唱經典—歐洲文藝復興時期合唱曲選(2008);20世紀澳門天主教音樂(中文版2013 ;修訂版2015;英文版2015 ;葡文版:Edições Colibri 葡萄牙2018);16世紀歐洲多聲部音樂研究(EHGBooks出版全球發行2017)等;中、英、日文論文及音樂文章百餘篇,包括:初期多聲音楽における雙音原理について(日本,1996); A survey of liturgical composition in Macao in the twentieth century:musical life with Sao Jose as its centre (Rouledge Taylor and Francis Group( LONGDON AND NEW YORK 2013);Tradição musical das Bandas de Sopros em Macau: breve introdução(葡萄牙2022);十六世紀上半葉葡萄牙多聲部音樂研究(2017); 16世紀俄羅斯多聲部音樂:聲部型態與和聲方式(2016);澳門城市音樂的學科體系:内涵、外延及展望(2020)等;唱碟:遙遠的回聲(2021)、澳門本土鋼琴作品研究(2017)等。音樂研究、創作與教學獲獎無數。2013年,因對音樂文化的學術貢獻,被澳門特區政府授予“文化功績勳章”。

Dai Dingcheng, holder of PhD in Composition Theory, is a professor of Musicology and supervisor of PhD students of the City University of Macau. His research is based mainly on early European polyphony and contemporary music. Ever since his arrival in Macao in 2003, Dai is involved in projects related to urban musicology. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of Chinese Musicians' Association, member of Cultural Consultative Committee of the Macao SAR, committee member of Asia Pacific Society for Ethnomusicology, Deputy Director of National Higher Education Academic Committee on Music Theory and Composition, committee member of World Choir Council, guest fellow of the Central Conservatory, guest professor of China Conservatory of Music, guest professor of Xinghai Conservatory of Music and South China Normal University, Visiting Professor of Newcastle University, member of the Academic Consultation Panel of HKBU. He is also the advisor to the Macao Orchestra, consultant of Aptitude Requirement of Music for Primary and Secondary Schools’ developed by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau, honorary chairperson, president and artistic director of various societies in Macao, such as Macao Cheong Hong Music Club, Macao Taoist Orchestra Association, Macao Band Directors Association, iMacao Music Association, World Southern Music Friendship Association and Alumni Association (Macao) of The Central Conservatory of Music. Dai had been the Dean of the Music College of Shanghai Normal University, Visiting Professor of Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, Vice President of Shanghai Musicians Association, and Director of School of Arts of Macao Polytechnic Institute .

DAI was born in Shanghai and received his early music training and studied the Bachelor of Music degree in Shanghai. He then pursued his postgraduate degree at Shizuoka National University in Japan. Afterwards, he went back to Shanghai and continued his PhD study under the instruction of Professor Sang Tong in the Department of Composition of SCM. He frequently visited various countries to do research and gave lectures. Dai has published dozens of essays in Chinese, English and Japanese in Asia, Europe and the US. Dai’s monographs include Concepts and Forms of Early European Harmony (Shanghai Music Publishing House [SMPH], 2001), Keyboard Harmony and Improvisation (Anhui Literature and Art Publishing House, 1992), Catholic Music in Macao in the Twentieth Century -- Music Writers and their Works in a Unique Historical Context (the Chinese version was published in 2013, and the English version was published in 2015 by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; the Portuguese version was published by Edições Colibri, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2018), Research on the European Polyphonic Music in the Sixteenth Century (EHGBBooks, 2017), Music Education in Macao (Macao Daily Press [MDP], 2005), Music Performance in Macao (MDP, 2005), Music Compositions in Macao (MDP, 2007). Besides, Dai has compiled Choral Classics – Renaissance Choral Works (People’s Music Publishing House, 2008), Selection of Early European Choral Works (SMPH, 2001), CD collection Remote Echo (SMPH, 2000).

Dai has received numerous awards and honours in music research, composition and teaching. In 2013, Dai received a Medal of Cultural Merit from the Macao SAR Government.
